At first to
gain my Photoshop skills back to its best and highest standard, I decided to
have a little play about with another image I took and to use this as a starter
before creating the real film poster. This gave me a chance to experiment with
the image and use the knowledge gained from the analysis and research and put
it into practise.
The background was of the red lights in our school dark
room. I had taken a picture of this due to colour of red and how it looked like
a horror room. This was flipped 90 degrees to fit my background of the film
poster mock up.
As a scene in the trailer is of a girl trapped on her chair
and attacked by the villain, I decided to take a photo of the process and use
this picture of the girl on the poster. The girl on the chair was cut out and
use on the mock up.
